Just smegging around with the colour scheme as I am bored with the old one. Not sure about this one, but prefer it to the old style. Comments? Is it easier on the eyes than the old green scheme version?
the yellow is better but peachy background a bit lame.... also, the text you use for your list of links of the right is a tad difficult to read... any improvements??

For the love of all the gods man, I know you come from a race of people who think that tartan is generally a good thing, but you have *got* to install something clean and minimalist before the style police cart you away in a burlap sack...

With sunglasses on and a good sun blocker, it's OK. To read the comments written in lemon juice, the old trick is to approach a flame to the text, while quickly wiping the display that should turn black from the candle' soot. Works for me everytime.

For those who had trouble reading the comments set on the yellow-ish background, and had concluded that the comments were invisible, if at all there, then it seems Joe was using invisible ink (-:. But no need to turn up the heating to reveal the contents (e.g. invisible comments on cats V terrorists): Simply highlight the areas of missing text. You know, like when you left click with the mouse and scroll down...and it's hey presto! Unles of course I'm the last to have figured out that one!
