To Porty by hovercraft
Plans are afoot to test out a service running across the River Forth from Kirkcaldy on the Fife coast to Portobello beach in Edinburgh, not far from where I took the pictures a couple of posts below; the service will be by hovercraft. How cool would that be???

ReplyDeleteSaw my first one being demonstarted at the Uni my dad lectured at, over 30 years ago (shiver, that long!)
From then on all my toys cars became hovercraft, sliding round corners just like the real thing, of course the wheels on a matchbox car can't take that for to long so a lot of them lost wheels.
